To renew content and method of Youth Union activities

Ten years after implementing the Politburo's Conclusion 62-KL/TW on "Continuing to renew content and method of Fatherland Front and socio-political unions’ activities", Youth Union at all levels in the province have frequently renewed the content and operation methods. Movements and activities increasingly attracted a large number of young people to youth unions and organizations.

Turning towards grassroots level

In each annual working program, Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee focused on renewing and improving the quality of movements. Recently, giving flowers has been replaced by offering books with good content to help raise children awareness. This is a creative and meaningful way. In addition, Provincial Youth Union combined many contents within the same topic group, divided emulation clusters according to each specific activity, and held online meetings... To implement the guideline of "Turning towards grassroots level", Provincial Youth Union assigned grassroots unions to host activities in accordance with local practical conditions; heads and deputy heads of departments of Provincial Youth Union came and work at grassroots level; diminished meeting time, deepened main contents to be in touch with reality and follow the right direction.

The improvement of organization quality of Youth Unions was proactively designed and done by provincial Youth Union through new movements and models to attract members. Prominent was models of active Youth Unions at rural areas, in areas having a large number of young workers; assigning commune officials to be Youth Union secretaries of quarters, hamlets... On the other hand, Provincial Youth Union also timely oriented and removed obstacles to organization and operation of youth organizations of specific units. Since then, there has been a good change, the proportion of average and weak Youth Unions and units has decreased. Youth Union at all levels actively developed and enhanced of youth organizations in private enterprises combined with Provincial Party Committee's Program No. 16 on "Building and developing Party organizations and socio-political organizations in private business sector, period 2016-2020”.

The method of uniting and gathering young people was renewed to meet learning, laboring needs, hobbies and with many new activities, models and using social networks to listen to opinions, and propagate youth activities, movements. In particular, youth organizations focused on caring and supporting activities for disadvantaged young ones, creating good effects in society.

Practical movements

Revolutionary action and youth supporting programs of Youth Union at all level actively approached new orientations, devised creative solutions, following local political tasks. In the past 10 years, with a volunteer spirit for socio-economic development, Youth Union at all levels in the province focused on new rural construction, urban civilization, and administrative procedure reform, and movements in each youth groups. All-level Youth Unions performed 39 province-level youth projects, 220 district-level youth works, 8,691 works at grassroots level, 167 programs and projects worth nearly VND90 billion.

Furthermore, Provincial Youth Union also had solutions to create a good learning environment, improve knowledge through youth supporting movements. This movement was very practical and effective in building a healthy school environment, friendly schools, students actively learned and trained. Over 10 years, Youth Unions granted awards of Young Talents, "Doan Thi Lien", "Ho Van Mau", DTL Scholarships, helped students go to school ",VSIP Scholarships... to more than 11,240 youth union members, students...
