Representatives of Dau Tieng Monuments Management Board present flowers to welcome the first visitor group of the Southeast regional tourism cooperation program.

This was a tourist delegation of Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh - Binh Duong route developed by SACO Tourism Company. It was also one of three new regional product lines to be announced at the recent Southeast tourism cooperation conference. Before returning to Ho Chi Minh City to end this journey, in Binh Duong, the delegation visited Dau Tieng Reservoir, Thai Son Pagoda, Phu An Bamboo Village, and went shopping at Minh Sang Plaza.

On this occasion, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Dau Tieng District People's Committee presented publications introducing about Binh Duong tourism to the delegation. These publications comprise cultural, historical monuments, famous landscapes, religious buildings (Ba pagoda, Phu Cuong Cathedral), architectural and artistic works, traditional craft villages (lacquer, pottery), and specialties of Binh Duong province through dishes such as bloating fern-shaped cake, mangosteen chicken salad, grilled durian chicken...

In order to recover and develop tourism after the Covid-19 epidemic, the tourism industry has implemented many tourism demand stimulating activities. Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism determines that tourism cooperation, development, and building a new inter-regional tourist route to Binh Duong is an essential activity to revive the province's tourism industry in particular and service activities in general after the Covid-19 epidemic.
