Tourism continues to grow

In 9 months of 2018, the whole province received 4.2 million visitors, up 5% over the same period in 2017 and completing 90% target in 2018. Provincial tourism revenue in 9 months also increased 9% compared with the same period in 2017, achieving VND1,200 billion, 90.5% target in 2018.

In the number of visitors to Binh Duong in 9 months 2018, Dai Nam tourist area welcomed 2.1 million visitors, Dot-Champa received 30,000 visitors, Thuy Chau tourist area 160,000visitors, Mount Cau - Dau Tieng lake welcomed 260,000visitors.

To achieve the above results, all levels and branches in the province organized entertainment activities on big holidays of the country such as Hung Kings’ death anniversary, National Liberation Day, International Labor Day, National Independence Day... Localities in the province also held many events, attracting a large number of visitors to Binh Duong. Besides, the work of ensuring social security order and safety for tourists in tourist sites and areas in the province was well performed, then strengthening visitor’s confidence.

In addition, tourism promotion activities of Provincial Tourism Promotion Center also contributed to the growth of provincial tourism industry. Accordingly, the center provided tourist information at the province’s booth at events, such as Spring Press - Spring Flower Festival 2018; the 14th Ho Chi Minh Tourism Festival 2018; Hung Kings’ death anniversary - Hung Temple Festival in 2018... Through these events, the center delivered more than 15,000 tourist publications to visitors, meeting the demand for Binh Duong tourist information of all tourists.

In addition, in order to strengthen the tourism promotion of the province, Provincial Tourism Promotion Center regularly renew advertising methods and designed 6 categories on official Binh tourist website (dulichbinhduong.org.vn). In 9 months 2018, the website received 128,204 visitors searching for travel information. At the same time, the center also boosted introduction of Binh Duong tourism through the compilation and publication of tourist publications, cooperation with media such as TV, radio, newspapers ... to carry out programs of tourism promotion.

 Street Food Festival

The event "Street Food Festival" in 2018 held by provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held on 22 and 23 Dec 2018 in Bach Dang Park, Phu Cuong Ward, TDM City. Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong. The festival will include many activities, such as: food courts; booths introducing, selling local products; booths of travel companies; street art shows; beautiful booth competition.
