Vietnamese goods pervasive in domestic market

Vietnamese goods have well met people’s demand. For many people, using Vietnamese goods has become their habit. Many Vietnamese products have also held their firm position in the market.

Noticeably, there is now diversification in distribution channels for Vietnamese goods, which has received domestic customers.

Whilst, Le Van Dung, a resident in Thuan An town’s Lai Thieu ward said that some Vietnamese goods have not satisfied customers’ demand for pattern. Their marketing ways are still not good. Therefore, he wanted that domestic enterprises need to strengthen skills on marketing, customer care…in order to keep customers and expand the market.

Nguyen Van Danh, Director of provincial Department of Industry and Trade said that Vietnamese goods have accounted for a great rate at province-based retail stores, supermarkets…The whole province is now home to 106 traditional markets with most domestic goods, 7 supermarkets with more than 80% of booths on Vietnamese goods. Many enterprises have paid more attention to developing their retail channels bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas; attached special importance to improving products’ patterns, decreasing their price and influencing people’s trend of using Vietnamese goods.

Efforts from enterprises

According to Luu Tri, Director of Nghe Nang Company, his company has invested in the state-of-the-art production line to create hi-quality products with eye-catching products to be able to dominate markets at home and abroad.

Nguyen Quang Vu, Chairman of provincial Leather Footwear and Handbag Association, General Director of Nam Binh Shoes Company said that his company has attached special importance to the domestic market. In fact, up to 70% of the company’s products are consumed in the domestic market. For market expansion, the company has always paid attention to catching customers’ taste. The company has also focused on management capacity while investing in the state-of-the-art production technologies, ensuring to create hi-quality products…

Tran Van Hung, Acting Head of provincial Market Control Department said that the unit has made efforts in the fight against fake products. He also wanted that in the coming time, enterprises need to have good coordination with the local market control sector to protect their trademark, contributing to clearing the domestic goods market.
