Vietnamese goods pervasive in rural region

Over the past years, North Tan Uyen district coordinated with relevant units to well realize a program on “bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside”. This has helped Vietnamese goods pervasive in the district.

Distribution channels of Vietnamese goods

Over the past time, provincial sector of industry and trade coordinated with North Tan Uyen district to organize joyful market-days of bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside. Each market-day absorbed the participation of tens of enterprises with a wide range of products displayed and sold.

Nguyen Van Thuan, Head of the district’s Division of Economics said that the program of bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside with Vietnamese trademarks has helped people get assess to more domestic products. This is also a chance for domestic enterprises to distribute their products to rural areas while helping them better approach the rural market.

As surveyed, more and more Vietnamese goods are present in rural areas of the district via many distribution channels. Currently, there are hundreds of households getting involved in grocery business. This is seen as a major goods distribution channel, bringing Vietnamese goods to customers.

Mr.Thuan said that since early this year, the district has worked with relevant units to organize 10 market-days of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural markets. Through mobile agencies, market-days of Vietnamese goods have contributed to supplying the local rural people with hi-quality Vietnamese goods with reasonable prices. In the coming time, the district will team up with provincial sector of industry and trade to further implement the program, especially on the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2020.

Diverse commodities

Huynh Thi Phan, a resident of Tan My commune said that market-days of Vietnamese goods were considered as shopping festivals for the local people with 5%-40% discount on products.

Dat Cuoc market has also recently got animated with diversification in terms of Vietnamese goods. Do Thanh Hoa, the owner of a grocery in Tan Thanh township said that thanks to well-built roads, Vietnamese goods are easy to come with people in rural areas. The lives of people herein have been improved, so their demand for shopping is also increasing. Her clients almost like using Vietnamese goods.

The district is absorbing more investors, so bringing Vietnamese goods to the district is highly appreciated. Mr.Thuan said that market-days of Vietnamese goods in the district have actively contributed to stabilizing market prices, lessening the risk of goods scarcity, especially on the peak season for people’s shopping.

The program of bringing Vietnamese goods to thr countryside is also a chance for units, enterprises to expand their distribution network, helping people easily get access to domestic products with high quality and stable prices, thereby forming up a habit of using Vietnamese goods among them.
