Vietnamese tourism development until 2030 in Binh Duong province implemented

Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee has just issued plan on strategic Vietnamese tourism development until 2030 in Binh Duong province.

Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee requires for implementation of strategic Vietnamese tourism until 2030 in the province by synchronous, proactive and coordinated actions of departments, sectors, functional agencies and people’s committees of districts, towns, and cities so as to assist and facilitate rapid and sustainable tourism development for the time to come.

As targeted in 2021-2025, local tourism should be grown averagely with staying rate of about 15% a year or higher with tourism revenue of about 20% a year or higher. It is also targeted that by 2025, tourist attraction should be at about 5,250,000 turns (of which, international tourists should be at about 320,000 turns) with expected tourism revenue of about VND 2,090 billion. About 400-500 turns of participants would join training and sandwich courses of tourism professions and tourism-related skills. It has also been proposed that tourism development should be established to support causes of training, information dissemination, tourism promotion and development of tourism products.

In 2026-2030, it is targeted to the turns of visitors and staying tourists of about 7& a year with tourism revenue growth of about 12% a year. By 2030, tourist attraction should be at about 8,100,000 turns (of which, international tourists should be at about 480,000 turns) with expected tourism revenue of about VND 3,700 billion. About 600-700 turns of participants would join training and sandwich courses of tourism professions and tourism-related skills.
