VND270million in loan disbursed for poor women

The Women’s Union of An Thanh ward in Thuan An town has just disbursed VND45million from the saving fund for poor women for 15 members.

As of now, the total outstanding loans of the fund have amounted to more than VND750million. Nguyen Thanh Thao, Chaiwoman of An Thanh ward’s Women’s Union said that in order to effectively realize the movement of “Women helping each other in economic development, the local Women’s Union has maintained loan programs, creating favorable conditions for members to rise up and step by step stabilize their lives.
