Volunteer activities for health’s community held

The 2nd provincial Young Physicians’ Association has just held an open session to review its activities in the first half of 2019 and define orientations, tasks for the rest of the year.

Reportedly, the association over the past six months implemented many significant activities, including providing free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for more than 5,000 needy people, heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families…, with a total expense of more than VND2.5billion. The association also held training courses on basic first-aid skills for 200 teachers at schools and workers; disseminated reproductive healthcare for 900 young workers and organized voluntary blood donation campaigns with the participation of 240 doctors…

For the rest of the year, the association set some tasks, comprising of some operational contents, including focusing on realizing the campaign of “Volunteer youths studying, being creative in scientific research”; boosting the movement of “Youths volunteering for health’s community”; implementing “paying debt of gratitude” activities…
