Volunteer spring

Provincial Youth Union will organize a volunteer spring program with significant activities, including visiting and offering gifts to children with difficult circumstances in the central Highlands province of Dak Lak on the days near the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2020.

Accordingly, provincial Youth Union will donate 250 schoolbags worth VND500,000 each, 50 scholarships and gifts worth VND500,000 each to children, poor HCM Young Pioneer Organization members with good academic results. The local Youth Union officials and members will also visit, offer gifts worth VND1million each to 2 policy beneficiary families; organize folk games for children, provide free medical check-up, medicine for 250 locals.

Di An town’s Youth Union has also just held a volunteer spring program in the southern province of Binh Phuoc. Particularly, the town’s Youth Union offered 3,000 notebooks, 30 schoolbags worth VND15million and new clothes to pupils with difficult circumstances.

Nguyen Thi Van Khanh, Vice-Secretary of Di An town’s Youth Union said that the town’s Youth Union has regularly organized volunteer activities in remote regions at the beginning of the New Year, thereby expressing the spirit of sentimental attachment between the army and rear and contributing to helping needy cases in border regions.

Such these apart, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have attached special important to “paying debt of gratitude” and  “when drinking water, remember its resource” activities, aiming to pay tribute to those who sacrified their lives for national independence and freedom. They have also got involved in many other meaningful activities such as visiting the monument of Doan Thi Lien and her family; paying a gift visit to the family of hero Ho Van Men...

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels are also very earger with volunteer activities for festivals at the begining of the New Year. The “volunteer spring” movement is one of volunteer activities done by TDM city’s Youth Union at the annual Thien Hau Lady temple festival. Joining hands in environmental protection, the Youth Union branch of Tan An quarter in Di An town’s Tan Dong Hiep ward organized a program on “exchanging waste for gifts”, absorbing more than 600 Youth Union members and locals...

In addition, the “volunteer spring” program of provincial Youth Unions at all levels have focused on taking care of workers living away from home via many significant activities, comprising of organizing art performance programs, giving gifts...

Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that over the past years, provincial Youth Unions at all levels actively got involved in spring volunteer activities, upholding the volunteer spirit of the local youths, contributing to building up a civilized and modern Binh Duong.
