Voters encourage and believe in candiates

During the past two weeks, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes, wards and towns in the province held conferences to collect voters' opinions and confidence at residential areas about candidates for the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils' deputies for the tenure 2021-2026. In general, the collection of comments and confidence of residential voters about the candidates had the participation of all voters, and promoted the spirit of openness and democracy.

Quarter 6, Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City held a conference to collect residential voters' comments and confidence about candidates for all-level People's Council's deputies 2021-2026.

Voters' conferences at quarters and hamlets in the province have recently really become festivals of the people. At Quarter 11, Chanh Nghia Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Fatherland Front Committee of Chanh Nghia ward briefly introduced biographies of 7 candidates for provincial People's Council's deputies; 1 person was a candidate for People's Council of Thu Dau Mot City; 2 persons were candidates for People's Council of Chanh Nghia ward; 1 person was a candidate for People's Council of other localities. After hearing biographies, the voters were very excited. The voters all found that the nominated candidates have strong ideological stance, strong political bravery, and good ethical qualities. The candidates are exemplary citizens and party members, have close relationships with local authorities and people.

From April 3 to April 11, in many wards of Thu Dau Mot City, Di An City, Thuan An City, Ben Cat Town, Phu Giao District etc., conferences collecting voters' comments and confidence about candidates had the full participation of voters and received candid comments. Pham Duc Hop, Head of Management Board of Quarter 2, Binh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, where there was a candidate for People's Council's deputy of Binh Duong province. All voters were excited about this candidacy. He has strong and stable ideological stance, political bravery, has good ethical qualities, high qualifications and professional capacity. At their residential area, he always listens to people's opinions, is close to and respects the people. I hope that, if winning this election, candidates need to bring into full play their professional abilities, continue to contribute to the development of their homeland”.

Over more than 2 weeks of monitoring and recording voters' opinions, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee assessed that residential voters' conferences took place based on principles of democracy, publicity, practicality and efficiency. Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes, wards and towns collaborated with People's Committee of the same level to hold conferences in accordance with regulations, ensuring the program content and completion time before 13 April 2021. At the conferences, voters expressed their confidence in the candidates and appreciated the candidates' professional qualifications, abilities and bravery. Voters suggested candidates regularly keep in touch with their local voters and actively participate in activities organized and launched by local government.

According to Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the results of collecting voters' opinions and confidence about candidates for National Assembly's deputies show that 14 candidates nominated by agencies, organizations and units gained 100% confidence from the voters; 2 self-nominated candidates got less than 50% of voter confidence. Regarding the results of collecting voters' opinions and confidence about candidates for provincial People's Council's deputies, there were 121/121 candidates gaining 95-100% confidence votes; 1 candidate got 95.3% confidence vote; There were no cases need verification in accordance with the law.
