Whole province needs additional 28,000 laborers

According to statistics by provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), province-based enterprises in Q1 2020 need around 28,000 laborers in industries of mechanism, electricity-electronics, food processing…, 75% of whom are unskilled ones.

Some woodwork and garment-textile enterprises, namely Bowker Garment Co.Ltd., Timberland Co.Ltd., Sonova Co.Ltd., Ubi Vina 3 Co.,...also need more than 1,000 laborers.

Provincial DoLISA has implemented some solutions in a synchronous way to opportunely meet enterprises ‘demand for labor recruitment. Accordingly, provincial DoLISA has instructed provincial Job Placement Center to improve the quality of prediction on labor supply and demand; strengthened job consultancy, introduction and continued carrying out vocational training for rural laborers; boosted the three-side linkage; made law dissemination among laborers, ensured laborers ‘legitimate rights and interests, aiming to keep them…
