Women in Binh Duong actively study, creatively work and build happy families

The “Women actively study, creatively work and build happy families” emulation movement of provincial Women’s Union has continued pervading vigorously. Through the emulation movement, there are many outstanding women in all aspects, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Provincial Women’s Union has promoted the “Women actively study, creatively work and build happy families” emulation movement in association with the campaigns of “Training moral virtues: “Self-confidence, Self-respect, Faithfulness and Resourcefulness”, “Five No-s, Three Clean-s”…The contents of the emulation movement have been concretized by movements, namely “Women helping each other in economic development”, “Paying debt of gratitude”, “All people consolidate to build cultural life”…

Truong Thanh Nga, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Women’s Union said that with deep awareness in the role and position of women in family, provincial Women’s Union has always associated the implementation of the “Women actively study, creatively work and build happy families” emulation movement with other many patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building qualified female officials, good women in economic development…The local women have actively researched and put forward initiatives applied in life. The emulation movement has also contributed to building up female civil servants and workers who are responsible to workplace and responsible to homework.

In response to the campaign of “All people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle” , provincial Women’s Unions at all levels have mobilized women to take part in building cultural families, quarters and hamlets while propagandizing and mobilizing them to build families with well-off, advanced and happy standards. There has been diversification in terms of emulation models and contents, namely “Family with 5 No-s and 3 Clean-s”, “Family without malnourished children”, “Happy family club”, “Club against social evils”…

Noticeably, the Women’s Unions of TDM city, Thuan An town…have upheld the effectiveness of the above models. Nguyen Thuy Minh Chi, Vice-Chairwoman of Thuan An town’s Women’s Union branch said that the town’s Women’s Union has developed a variety of effective and creative models, including the “Free supermarket” of Vinh Phu ward’s Women’s Union branch, the “White shirt to school” of Binh Chuan ward’s Women’s Union branch…

In 2017 alone, provincial Women’s Unions at all levels set up 4,411 saving books of more than VND125billion with 125,000 members, offering help to 56,270 poor women with more than VND119billion; 1,243 groups saving VND5,000 with 43,730 members and VND4billion…From many other resources like “Supporting women in economic development”, “For homeland”, “Girls overcoming difficulties”, provincial Women’s Unions at all levels provided more than VND1.4billion in loan for 326 members with difficult circumstances. Under the program of “Saving day for poor women”, they also mobilized more than VND3.6billion from organizations and individuals or 286.23% of the set target, helping women get loans to foster production-business models, stabilizing their life…
