Youth Unions at all levels join hands in Covid-19 prevention

Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have been proactive to join hands with the local administration in the fight against the pandemic by concrete deeds.

Deep and wide propaganda

With concrete deeds, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have joined hands with the local administration in Covid-19 prevention.

Accordingly, the Youth Unions of districts, towns and cities actively propagandized and called on people to take part in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. Ben Cat town’s Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union branches of the town’s Health Center and Division of Natural Resources-Environment to offer 250 bottles of hand sanitizers to the local people; delivered propaganda leaflets on Covid-19 prevention to them and guided them how to prevent the pandemic.

North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union and its branches actively organized propaganda activities on Covid-19 prevention among teenagers, children and pupils. Bau Bang district’s Youth Union also implemented operational contents among its branches by online meetings, aiming to have timely solutions in urgent cases amid the complicated development of the pandemic. Whilst, Phu Giao district’s Youth Union conducted its branches to realize effective activities in Covid-19 prevention; joined hands with the local administration in raising public awareness in the fight against the pandemic.

Youth Unions of communes, wards in the province were also been proactive to curb the pandemic by specific measures. For example, the Youth Union of Binh An ward in Di An city organized a propaganda program on Covid-19 prevention at the headquarters of the ward’s People’s Committee. The ward’s Youth Union also coordinated with the local healthcare sector to make body temperature checks for officials, civil servants and those who come to the ward’s People’s Committee for transaction…

Covid-19 prevention in apartment building

Under the instruction of Tan Dong Hiep ward’s Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Youth Union branch of Tan An quarter has disseminated pandemic preventive measures among Youth Union members and young workers. Accordingly, the sub-union for young workers under the group 20 and the Youth Union branch of Tan An quarter held a propaganda program against Covid-19 pandemic in the Thuan Kieu apartment building.

At the event, participants were offered face masks, hand sanitizers and delivered propaganda leaflets on Covid-19 prevention…Tan An quarter also launched a mobile propaganda squad that is responsible for supporting prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic while giving legal consultancy for the local Youth Union members and young workers. Propaganda leaflets on Covid-19 prevention, hand sanitizers were also put in some locations of the apartment building.

Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, the quarter’s Youth Union branch will further design more locations with hand sanitizers in the apartment building in a bid to prevent the pandemic…All the above efforts have made residents in the apartment building feel secure to be able to join hands with the local administration in Covid-19 prevention.
