10-year implementation of Directive No.17 CT/TW of the Secretariat of the 10th Party Central Committee under review

Early June 21, Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council presided over a conference to review the 10-year implementation of Directive No.17-CT/TW of the Secretariat of the 10^th Party Central Committee on “Further improving the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda in the new context” and the local task of propaganda-education in the first half of 2017.

After 10-year implementation of the Directive No.17-CT/TW, the province’s oral propaganda basically met requirements and tasks in the new context with content and form improved. The province organized more than 800 provincial and district-level propaganda conferences with thousands of participants over the past 10 years…

The conference also partially summed up the local task of propaganda-education in the first half of 2017 and defined a number of main tasks for the rest of the year.  Accordingly, the province will bend on disseminating considerable results in socio-economic development; the 2017 enrollment and preparation for the new academic year; the fight against epidemic diseases, food safety-hygiene, activities in celebration of great political events; the organization of contests for good propagandists…

Addressing the conference, Mr.Canh spoke highly of the local implementation of the Directive No.17-CT/TW over the past time. He also pointed out shortcomings in the process of realizing the Directive No.17-CT/TW as well as measures to improve them to be able to continue effectively carrying out it.
