189 Youth Union branches set up in non-State enterprises

Early February 21, Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee had a working session with provincial Youth Union about its development task in non-State enterprises in 2016 based on provincial Party Standing Committee’s Program No.16-Ctr/TU dated June 9, 2016 on “Building, developing Party, socio-political organizations in non-State enterprises for the period of 2016-2020 (briefly called the Program No.16).

Thanks to the attention, support of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, leaders of sectors, departments and mass organizations in the province, many activities taking care of young workers were organized in 2016. Provincial Youth Union also implemented some schemes, namely “Improving youths’ legal awareness for the 2016-2020 period”, “Unitizing and gathering young workers for the 2016-2020 period”…, contributing to caring for the spiritual and material lives of young workers. As of late 2016, the whole province established 189 Youth Union branches with 19,856 members; recommended 26 outstanding Youth Union members to the Communist Party of Vietnam; set up 5 clubs connecting young workers, 58 sub-unions for young workers with 2,198 members…

Speaking at the session, Mr.Tu stressed that realizing the Program No.16 is an important political task of the Party. For it getting high results, provincial Youth Union needs to well carry out coordination with other mass organizations, effectively maintain a task of uniting and gathering young workers in non-State enterprises…
