Announcement ceremony of Di An City and Thuan An City establishment will be held in late March 2020

On 18 Feb, at provincial Administrative Center, Trần Văn Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly's delegation, presided over a meeting to approve preparation plan of announcement ceremony of Resolution of National Assembly's Standing Committee on the establishment of Di An City and Thuan An City. Attending the meeting were Nguyễn Hoàng Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Trần Thanh Liêm, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of departments, branches and localities.

The announcement ceremony of Di An City and Thuan An City establishment is to widely publicize this news, create a joyful atmosphere celebrating the economic, cultural, social and national defense - security achievements of Di An and Thuan An towns in the construction and development process. Besides, through the announcement ceremony, a patriotic emulation movement will be launched and disseminated among the people for the building of the two civilized and modern cities. The announcement ceremony will be held in late March 2020. This event will be broadcast live on Binh Duong Television. At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and localities contributed opinions on organization plan for the announcement ceremony.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nam emphasized that during the preparation time from now until 1 April, Di An City and Thuan An City will still use the old seals (town seal); from April 1 onwards use new seals (city seal). The Secretary of Provincial Party Committee asked leaders of the two above-mentioned units to continue strengthening the management, inspection and supervision of Covid-19 prevention and combat in these localities.
