“Good farmer in production and business” emulation movement under review

Early July 19, Bau Bang district’s Farmers’ Association held a conference to review its emulation movement of “Good farmer in production and business” for the period of 2017 and 2019.

Over the past three years, the emulation movement in the district further reached development in both depth and width, creating pervasion on agro-forestry-fishery sector, home industry and services. This contributed to encouraging the local people to uphold their creativeness and diligence in production, becoming role-models in the emulation movement…

The association now has 7 facilities, 43 branches and 413 groups; 7 farmers’ clubs with 231 members; 55 linkage models and cooperative groups with 708 members. Over the past three years, they mobilized good farmers to offer help to more than 317 needy ones with more than 1,000 working days, more than VND3billion, nearly 7,600 nurslings, 250,000 breeding animals…The whole district also had nearly 8,200 households winning the title of “good farmer in production and business” at all levels…
