Local Fatherland Front needs to focus on disseminating Party’s resolutions, directives and VFF’s programs

On the afternoon of August 22, a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, led by Tran Thanh Man, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the VFF Central Committee, had a working session with provincial leaders about the local fatherland front work over the past 7 months.

Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council received the delegation.

The province’s fatherland front work over the past 7 months continued being strengthened with operational contents and forms improved, well meeting requirements and tasks of the sector in the new context. Many patriotic emulation movements, namely “All people consolidate to build civilized urban and new rural areas”, “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”… were implemented effectively. The sector also continued attaching special importance to “paying debt of gratitude” and social charity activities…

Speaking at the working session, Mr.Man acknowledged and hailed the province’s results in fatherland front work over the past 7 months while emphasizing that the sector needs to bend on disseminating the Resolution of the 12^th National Party congress, the Politburo’s Directive No.05, the Resolution of the 4^th session of the 12^th Party Central Committee, action actions of the VFF; listen to people’s feelings and aspirations; pay attention to improving operational contents and forms…

Mr.Nam also stressed that the sector made contributions to the local achievements in socio-economic development, national defence and security. In the coming time, the province will have more drastic direction over fatherland front work; improve obstacles, especially in social criticism and dialogue with people. He also wanted that the VFF Central Committee will continue creating favorable conditions for the fatherland front sector of the province to make more contributions to the local development process.
