Meeting with Consuls' delegation and foreign agencies

On 9 Jan, Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee organized a meeting with Consular officials and foreign agencies. Attending the meeting were Trần Văn Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation; Trần Thanh Liêm, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Central diplomatic agencies, representatives of consulates, trade offices and business associations of countries in Ho Chi Minh City; representatives of foreign businesses operating in Binh Duong.

Mr. Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation, welcomed Consuls' delegation and representatives of foreign agencies to attend the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Liêm, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, said that in the complicated world and domestic economic-political context including many opportunities and challenges, with the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and timely taking advantage of opportunities, in 2019, Binh Duong province made efforts to overcome all difficulties and challenges, ensured that the economy continues to achieve high growth rates with most targets met and exceeded the plan.

Chairman of Provincial People's Committee appreciated the results with many important meaningful diplomatic activities, in which Binh Duong successfully hosted the Horasis Asian Meeting 2019. In the increasingly globalization and deeper international integration context, Binh Duong province has been promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation and at the same time strengthening cooperation and exchange activities in many fields; contributed to creating a foundation and motivation for integration; realizing the goal of becoming an industrial province, a smart and modern city; aims to improve the quality people's lives and creates an favorable environment for the business community to develop effectively and successfully.

Chairman of Provincial People's Committee affirmed that one of the important factors helping Binh Duong achieve good results in foreign affairs 2019 was the close cooperation, the enthusiastic support of Consulates, foreign trade agencies, and foreign business associations in promoting, providing information and introducing to foreign investors and the international community about a friendly and dynamic Binh Duong province in the development process; create opportunities for Binh Duong to consolidate and strengthen friendly and cooperative relations with countries and territories around the world for the sake of sustainable development.
