Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and leaders of Binh Duong province present gifts to workers

In the morning of January 19, the delegation of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs led by Dao Ngoc Dung, Member of the CPV’s Central Committee, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, visited and presented gifts to 150 workers in industrial zones of Binh Duong province. Each gift includes VND 1 million in cash and gifts. Attending the ceremony was guyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2021, Binh Duong provincial Trade Union proposed to Binh Duong provincial People's Committee for consideration and offer of 13,250 Tet gifts financed by the budget of VND 500,000 each gift, making up the total amount of more than VND 6.6 billion for the workers being far from home. "The Spring of Love" return trips are projected for more than 4,000 union members and workers of difficult circumstances to return home to welcome Lunar New Year 2021. The program of "Reunion New Year" of cultural and performance activities and Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances is organized. Activities such as "Fair with no price - Original price booth", "Welcoming Tet with workers' families, praising the hostel owners accompanying workers", "Warm Lunar New Year's Eve", "Tet meals - sharing love, and "Spring tour" offering workers visits to historical and cultural sites of the province are organized.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Dao Ngoc Dung highly appreciated Binh Duong authority’s efforts in caring for workers, especially on their holidays and Tet. Recognizing the efforts of the Party committees, authorities, and businesses, he wished that the Party committees, authorities and businesses continue to pay more attention to and take care of workers' lives, especially during holidays and Tet so that workers can return to their hometown to celebrate Tet and those who stay may enjoy Tet in a safe, healthy, joyful and warm manner. He noted that the workers must comply well with the law on labor and improvement of their professional skills to increase labor productivity and high-value products.

On the occasion of the New Year, he wished that the Binh Duong provincial leaders and Trade Union should keep on supporting the workers and become a bridge between the employees and the Party and State. At the same time, he wished for the New Year of healthiness and happiness in life to all workers. The Trade Union stays attached to the care for and protection of the interests of the workers.
