Province marks VFA’s 89th founding anniversary

Early October 11, provincial Farmers’ Association held a get-together to mark the 89^th founding anniversary of Vietnam Farmers’ Association (October 14, 1930-October 14, 2019) at Kien An forest historical relic site in Dau Tieng district’s An Lap commune.

The event was attended by Lam Van Hoa, Permanent Deputy Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of sectors, mass organizations in the province, Dau Tieng district and provincial Farmers’ Associations at all levels.

At the event, Do Ngoc Huy, Chairman of provincial Farmers’ Association reviewed the development history of VFA during the 89 past years; highlighted achievements done by provincial Farmers’ Association in 2019, significantly contributing to the local socio-economic development.

On this occasion, provincial Farmers’ Association awarded the mementoes “For Vietnamese peasantry” of the Central Committee of VFA to outstanding members who made contributions to the cause of the association’s development and construction together with the certificates of merit to 10 collectives with excellent achievements in the local farmers’ movements.
