Provincial Journalists’ Association marks 93rd anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day

Early June 20, provincial Journalists Association held a get-together to mark the 93^rd anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-June 21, 2018) and present the 3^rd Nguyen Van Tiet Press Prize Awards to outstanding press works.

Attending the event were Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of sectors, departments in the province; veteran journalists, reporters, editors of press agencies in and out of the province.

Upholding the tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary press, province-based press agencies well realized dissemination of information about the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws; lividly reflected all aspects of social life, joining hands with the local Party, government and people to victoriously implement tasks on socio-economic development, national defence-security…

Addressing the get-together, Mr.Phuoc spoke highly of achievements done by province-based press agencies over the past time while raising some orientations on propaganda work in the coming time.

On this occasion, provincial Journalists Association also awarded the mementoes “For the Vietnamese press cause” to 12 journalists; presented the 3^rd Nguyen Van Tiet Press Awards to outstanding press works, including 4 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 12 C prizes and 16 consolation prizes.
