Provincial leader meets FFC’s delegation before visit to Laos’Champasak

Early August 8, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee had a meeting with provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC)’s delegation before its working visit to Champasak province in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

As planned, Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization, Chairman of provincial FFC will lead the delegation. The delegation will pay a courtesy visit to Secretary and Chief of Champasak province; attend a ceremony to review the five-year implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Lao Front for National Construction of Champasak province and the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee between 2014 and 2019, meet and sign the cooperation agreement for the 2019-2024 period; visit and offer gifts to the Executive Board of the Association of Vietnamese People in Champasak province and overseas Vietnamese; pay a gift visit to Champasak province’s primary school for overseas Vietnamese; provide free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for 700 poor people in Champasak province.

Addressing the meeting, Mr.Thao stressed that the visit is of great political significance for the province. He also wished the delegation every success while asking for it to deliberate contents of the two sides’ cooperation agreement for the 2019-2024 period in line with the new context of foreign affairs of the country…
