Provincial leaders work with Tan Uyen, Phu Giao’s Party Standing Committees

Early March 29, a delegation of provincial leaders, including Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of sectors and departments, had a working session with Tan Uyen town’s Party Standing Committee about the local socio-economic development, national defense-security, political system construction in 2016 and orientations, tasks for 2017.

Reportedly, the town’s economy last year continued reaching stable growth. The town’s industrial production value was estimated at more than VND17.37trillion, a year-on-year increase of 12.37%. The town’s value of agro-forestry and fisheries production also obtained VND582billion or 100.02% of the year’s plan. The town was recognized as a locality completing the new rural construction program by the Government and now continues improving the quality of criteria of the program for 6 communes…

The town’s Party Standing Committee also reported the outcomes of implementation of instructions from provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee about such contents as focusing on drastically realizing overall socio-economic development plans; further rechecking, adjusting the planning for Thanh Phuoc port, Thai Hoa port, Thai Hoa bridge; making plans to expand Uyen Hung ward, Thai Hoa port’s logistics area; fostering infrastructure connecting with industrial parks, compounds, residential areas…

Concluding the working session, Mr.Nam acknowledged the efforts by the town’s Party Standing Committee in fulfilling a lot of socio-economic, cultural-historical, traffic and welfare social works over the past time. He also emphasized that the town’s Party Standing Committee needs to make decentralized administration in association with State budget allocation in a logical way; seriously realize plans as well as attaching special importance to smart investment for high efficiency as Tan Uyen is defined as a major area of the province; boost urban management; tighten control over public land and give priority to using public land for social welfare; actively carry out administrative reform…

Reportedly, the district’s socio-economic situation last year continued getting positive changes. The lives of local were improved a lot; national defence-security were maintained and strengthened. For Party building work, the district continued enhancing the quality of political education; disseminating central; resolutions and conclusions; bent on directing the implementation of plans to redress shortcomings. Authorities at all levels of the district also continued improving leadership capacity in all aspects. In addition, the district’s Fatherland Front Committees and mass organizations at all levels continued raising their operational quality and efficiency.

At the working session, the delegation answered petitions by leaders of the district on basic construction, land use, industrial development, new rural construction, Party building…

Mr.Nam also suggested the district to deliberate settlement for the issues of land use management, hi-tech based agricultural development, Party members management; continue paying attention to new rural construction…
