Provincial Party Committee’s inspection delegation works with provincial DoPI

On the afternoon of May 23, an inspection delegation of provincial Party Committee, led by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, had a working session with provincial Department of Planning and Investment (DoPI) on the implementation of the Resolution of the 12^th national Party congress, the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Party congress for the 2015-2020 tenure, with focus on provincial Party Committee’s 4 breakthrough programs.

After two years of implementing the contents of the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Party congress and provincial Party Committee’s breakthrough programs, provincial DoPI fulfilled most set targets on socio-economic development. The province’s sector of trade-services continued going up and occupied a great proportion in the local economic structure. The province’s total capital for the whole society’s development between 2016-2017 was estimated at more than VND154.1trillion, up 11.7%/year. Provincial DoPI also called for economic sectors to take part in infrastructure development and well completed the set target on FDI attraction for the period of 2016-2018.

Speaking at the working session, Mr.Liem asked for provincial DoPI to recheck unfinished targets in the process of realizing provincial People’s Committee’s resolutions and action programs for timely solution. He also stressed that provincial Party Committee’s Program No.23-CTr/TU on mobilizing resources from ecomomic sectors to further make province’s socio-economic infrastructure investment between 2016-2020 is very important with deep impacts on other breakthrough programs. Hence, provincial DoPI needs to take more drastic solutions in order to reach better results.
