Striving to fulfill the tasks of State budget revenue in 2020

In the morning of July 7, the Ministry of Finance organized an online conference with 63 provinces and cities to summarize the state budget - finance work in the first 6 months of 2020, deploying financial tasks - State budget for the last 6 months of 2020. Attending the conference was Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. In the face of the complicated situation of the Covid 19 epidemic, the Ministry of Finance proactively proposed to the competent authorities to decide on fiscal solutions to remove difficulties for production, business and social security. In particular, submit to the Government for promulgation of Decree No. 41 on extending the deadline for VAT payment, corporate income tax, personal income tax and land rent to businesses and business households. By the end of June 2020, the tax authority has received and extended the tax payment and land lease with the amount of more than VND 43,000 billion. Along with that, the implementation of exemption and reduction of some taxes, registration fees and fees with an expected value of about 20 billion ... At the conference, representatives of the localities had recommendations about the issues, increasing budget revenue, limiting the omission of revenue sources; limiting price increases; and curbing inflation.

The conference approved the plan of implementing 10 financial and budget tasks for the last 6 months of 2020 with 6 focus groups of solutions. In particular, localities strive to complete at the highest level the task of state budget collection in 2020; continue to accelerate administrative reforms, increase investment attraction for economic development; well implementing tax laws and state budget collection tasks in 2020; strictly manage budget revenues and expenditures, strictly comply with regulations.
