Two-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.5 under review

Early June 20, Phu Giao district’s Women’s Union held a conference to partially review the two-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.05 on “Acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” and its activities in the first half of 2018.

After two years of implementing the Politburo’s Directive No.05, the district’s Women’s Unions at all levels organized a variety of creative and practical models on social charity activities. Over the past six months, they actively promoted the movement of “Women actively study, creatively work and build up happy families” among officials and members. They also realized many significant activities, including presenting 50 gifts worth VND15million to poor women under the model of “Saving VND1,000 every day to help poor women enjoy Tet”; mobilizing organizations, individuals to build and hand over 2 houses of compassion worth VND100million to women in need of housing; raising VND179million for the “Saving day for poor women” fund, offering help to 38 women…

On this occasion, the district’s Women’s Union honored 8 collectives and 19 individuals with excellent achievements in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle for the period of 2016-2018 (photo).
