Youth development program for 2016-2018 under review

Provincial Steering Board for Youth Development Program, on September 12, held a conference to partially sum up the three-year implementation of the program for the 2016-2018 period. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee chaired the conference.

Reportedly, the program organized training courses for 23,545 officials, civil servants; supported 22,000 Youth Union members, pupils and students to get VND6billion in loan; gave vocational training for 4,820 rural youths, demobees; introduced jobs to 183,855 people; converted 338 backward youths, helping them integrate into the community again…over the past three years.

Addressing the conference, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee asked for the steering board to implement targets to 2020, including educating youths about revolutionary ideology, morality, lifestyle; improving their professional knowledge; building up a hi-quality young workforce in association with sci-tech research and application; enhancing youths’ spiritual and material lives…
