100 gifts offered to the poor

Early September 15, Thuan An city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) teamed up with Buu Minh pagoda in Binh Nham ward to offer 100 gifts worth VND300,000 each, including instant noodles, cooking oil and sugar, to the local needy families. The charity program was funded by Buu Minh pagoda.

In a bid to prevent Covid-19 pandemic, the city’s FFC mobilized organizations, individuals to offer nearly 1,940 gifts worth more than VND340million, 2 tons of rice to the local poor households and lottery ticket vendors, helping them stabilize their lives.
