189 humanitarian addresses offered gifts

Provincial Red Cross Society, on June 5, coordinated with TDM city’s Red Cross Society to offer gifts to humanitarian addresses in the province.

Accordingly, provincial Red Cross Society donated gifts worth more than VND359million to 189 humanitarian addresses with extremely difficult circumstances under the campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address”  in the first half of 2020. Each gift comprised of VND1.8million in cash and a gift worth VND100,000.

The campaign of “Each organization, individual should stick to a humanitarian address”  has been launched by provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels since 2008. So far, provincial Red Cross Society has considered and supported 2,080 humanitarian addresses with the monthly subsidy of VND300,000. In the first half of 2020, the total support value for humanitarian addresses across the province was nearly VND4billion.
