3rd provincial festival for poor-but-excellent pupils held

Early October 22, provincial Youth Union held the 3^rd provincial festival for poor-but-excellent pupils 2017 under the theme of “Making dreams come true” with the participation of 300 children with difficult circumstances.

The festival awarded 6 “Doraemon” scholarships worth VND1million each to poor pupils with good academic results in the 2017-2018 academic year. Provincial People’s Committee also honored 2 individuals together with 26 other individuals and collectives winning high achievements in the 2017 “Chinh phuc vu mon” (Conquering Test) competition at national and provincial levels, respectively.

In addition, provincial Young Pioneer Organization donated 2 “red scarf” houses worth VND50million each to 2 poor-but-excellent pupils in Ben Cat town and North Tan Uyen district. The organizers also awarded 103 scholarships worth VND1million each to needy pupils…

At the festival, participating pupils also had a chance to take part in games, enjoy art performance items…
