Activities take care of the poor, young workers on Tet

*Early January 21, provincial Cultural House for Children and Dau Tieng district’s Youth Union jointly held a program in celebration of the New Year 2017 for children with difficult circumstances.

The program took place very animatedly with special art items in celebration of the 87^th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930-February 3, 2017) and the Tet festival 2017. It also presented 100 gifts from the “Spring tree” program to needy children in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh Tuyen, Thanh An and An Lap communes.

*Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee has offered 50 Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households. Each gift comprises of VND500,000 in cash and 10 kg of rice, funded by U&I Company and the town’s Buddhist Sangha.

*The Youth Union of Phu Loi ward in TDM city, on January 22, held a contest “Ngoi nha chung don Tet” (Commune home for Tet), absorbing young workers at the local lodging facilities.

On the evening of the same day, they took part in decorating peach flowers, yellow apricot blossoms and performing sketches. On this occasion, the Youth Union of Phu Loi ward also presented 40 gifts worth VND200,000 each to young workers who are not able to return home for Tet; 25 gifts to pupils at the local charity class and a gift “Lightening dreams of young workers” to a needy case…
