Additional 5 F1 cases returning from pandemic-hit areas under monitoring

On May 17, the province’s health sector monitored 5 cases related to the Covid-19 3880 patient in Da Nang city and the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic at Hosiden Company in Quang Chau Industrial Park in Bac Giang province.

Specifically, the 3 cases related to the Covid-19 patient 3880 in Da Nang city are located in Di An city’s Dong Hoa ward. From April 30 to May 1, these 3 cases attended a wedding party at village 2, Tien Tho commune, Tien Phuoc district, Quang Nam province. The Covid-19 3880 patient also attended the wedding party during the above time. On May 2, the cases returned to Binh Duong and made medical declaration at the ward’s health station on May 16. These cases are being isolated at Di An Medical Center. The local health sector took the cases ‘samples for testing and is waiting for results while continuing investigating F2 cases.

Regarding the Covid-19 outbreak of Hosiden Company, the local health sector took samples for testing of 2 cases living in Di An city’s Di An ward. On April 30, these two cases had direct contact with L.T.H younger sister in Hoang Mai town’s Quynh Xuan ward in Nghe An province. L.T.H. tested positive for Covid-19 on May 15. On May 1, the cases returned to Di An city. On May 16, they went to the ward's health station to make medical declaration after receiving information that their young sister was positive for Covid-19. These cases are being isolated. The local health sector took their samples for testing and is waiting for results.
