Gifts donated to policy beneficiary families in Thanh Tuyen people in Dac Lac

To mark the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2017), the “Tinh nguoi” (humanity) Red Cross Society branch under the Central Committee of Vietnam Red Cross Society in collaboration with provincial Red Cross Society offered gifts to policy beneficiary families in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh Tuyen commune on the morning of July 15.

In the visiting place, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to the families of war invalids, martyrs and those who have rendered services to the nation while presenting 50 gifts worth VND500,000 each to them.

*Early July 7, Di An town’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with An Binh ward’s Volunteers’ Club held a delegation to visit and donate gifts to poor ethnic minority people in the Central Highlands province of Dac Lac.

In the visiting place, the delegation extended best regards to poor ethnic minority people, encouraged them to surmount difficulties and rise in life. The delegation also gave them 700 gifts worth VND350,000 each, comprising of 10 kg of rice, cooking oil, instant noodle, soya sauce, seasoning powder, together with 2,100 kg of old clothes. Additionally, the delegation presented 11,000 sets of clothes to Vinh Son orphanage.

It is known that the charity program has a total expense of more than VND262million, funded by members of the ward’s Volunteers’ Club.
