Whole province needs additional 38,000 laborers

According to statistics by provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, province-based enterprises in Q4, 2019 need around 38,000 laborers in industries of mechanism, electricity-electronics, furniture, food processing…, including more than 30,000 unskilled ones.

It is known that food processing and services need a large number of laborers from now to before the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2020. Some enterprises in furniture, garment…also need a lot of laborers to fulfill their orders at year-end.

Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee have also instructed sectors, departments, especially provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to take solutions in a synchronous way. Accordingly, provincial Job Placement Center will improve the quality of forecast for labor supply-demand; boost job introduction and consultancy; continue giving vocational training for rural laborers.
