Ben Cat marks 87th anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Union

Early October 17, Ben Cat town’s Women’s Union held a get-together to mark the 87^th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930-October 20, 2017) and honor outstanding women in all aspects.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Women’s Union while further launching emulation movements, namely “Women actively study, creatively work and build happy families”, “Women with two good performances”, and “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”.

The get-together also honored outstanding women in all aspects; awarded the mementoes “For the development cause of Vietnamese women” to 3 officials of the association; set up the town’s Businesswomen’s Association with 17 members; offered 42 health insurance cards and gifts to poor women.

On this occasion, the town’s Women’s Union also organized a “Duyen dang phu nu Ben Cat” (Charm of Ben Cat’s women) contest with 32 local women. Finally, first prize went to Le Thi Thuy An of An Tay commune.
