Binh Duong provides VND2billion as relief aid to flood victims in Khanh Hoa

A delegation of Binh Duong province, led by Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), yesterday visited and donated VND2billion to Khanh Hoa provincial FFC in order to offer timely support for people hit by the typhoon No.12.

On behalf of Binh Duong’s government and people, Mrs.Lan extended best regards to flood victims and encouraged them to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. In the central province, the typhoon No.12 claimed 44 dead and missing together with thousands of houses collapsed with total losses estimated at more than VND10trillion.

The same day, the delegation and representative of Becamex IDC directly visited, supported 100 households with houses collapsed in the typhoon with the level of VND5million per household and gave 300 gifts worth VND1million each for other flood victims. Kim Oanh Real Estate Joint Stock Company also gave VND500million and 50 gifts for flood victims in Ninh Hoa town.

Thus, the delegation’s relief trip to central provinces Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa hit by the typhoon No.12 ended with total aid money of VND6.3billion.
