March 21, the inspection delegation of cultural and social board of Provincial People’s Committee led by Trinh Duc Tai – its head, and some departments and sectors had an on-site inspection on collective kitchens in Thuan An Town. The delegation visited 4 on-site kitchens of schools and 1 in an enterprise in VSIP. At the inspection, the delegation inspected on quality of food source before processing including fast test of some foods and nutrition in meals for school student in accordance with balanced menu recommended by Ministry of Education and Training.
By the inspection, the delegation members highly appreciated the organization and quality of collective kitchens in Thuan An Town. The collective kitchens in schools have been ensured by 3-step examination of food sources with focus on meal nutrition. The collective kitchen of Esquel Garment Manufacturing Vietnam is designed in one-way open approach to control foods and nutrition for meals valued from VND 18,000 to 20,000 a serve.
