“Great unity” houses donated to the poor

Early August 20, Tan Uyen town’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) held a ceremony to hand over 2 “great unity” houses to 2 poor households in Thanh Phuoc and Khanh Binh wards.

The first house of 40 square meters was given for Le Thi Cuc in Thanh Phuoc ward’s Tan Luong quarter with a total construction cost of VND63million, funded by Agribank’s Tan Uyen branch. The second house of 63.5 square meters was donated to Nguyen Thi Chua in Khanh Binh ward’s Khanh Tan quarter with a total construction cost of VND138million from Agribank’s Tan Uyen branch, the local administration and her family.

At the ceremony, the town’s FFC and donors also offered gifts to the two families, aiming to encourage them to soon surmount difficulties and stabilize their lives.
