Local health sector to organize activities in response to Action Month on Labor Safety and Hygiene 2019

Provincial Department of Health has just instructed the local health facilities to organize activities in response to the Action Month on Labor Safety and Hygiene 2019, which begins from May 1 to 31.

During the Action Month, the local health sector will focus on dissemination of information about risks on labor safety as well as measures to control over dangerous and harmful factors at workplace; coordinate with sectors to carry out inspection, supervision on labor hygiene and safety…Relevant units will also organize meetings with focus on well realizing healthcare for laborers, improving working conditions, preventing occupational diseases and sufficiently implementing policies in favor of laborers; making surveillance on working environment as stipulated; organizing contests, seminars, talk shows…on labor safety-hygiene and prevention of occupational diseases.
