Mid-autumn gifts offered to poor, disabled children

On the occasion of the mid-autumn festival 2019, provincial Association for the Blind has proposed provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to give 22 gifts for members’ offspring. Around 60 gifts were also mobilized from provincial Children’s Support Fund for 3 units, including provincial Association for the Blind,  its branches in TDM city and Thuan An town.

“Vang trang khuyet” (crescent moon) charity group also held a mid-autumn festival for orphans at Duc Quang pagoda in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre with a total expense of more than VND10million.

*The Youth Union of An Son commune in Thuan An town has just organized a mid-autumn festival for the local needy children.

At the festival, participating children had a chance to take part in interesting games, enjoy special art items…. The organizers also donated 30 gifts worth VND3.5million, comprising of moon cakes, milk, lanterns to needy children in two hamlets of An Quoi and Phu Hung.
