Mid-autumn gifts offered to unprivileged children

The Youth Union of Dinh Hoa ward in TDM city has just worked with Van Son pagoda to give gifts for the local children with difficult circumstances on the occasion of the mid-autumn festival 2018.

Particularly, Van Son pagoda offered 500 mid-autumn gifts, comprising of lanterns and moon-cakes, to the local disadvantaged children. The pagoda also awarded 10 scholarships to pupils at Dinh Hoa ward’s charity class (photo). It is known that this is the fifth consecutive year the pagoda has presented mid-autumn gifts and scholarships to poor children, encouraging them to try harder in study to become obedient children and good pupils.

*On the afternoon of September 23, Bo De Dao Trang pagoda in Thuan An town also gave 400 mid-autumn gifts worth VND150,000 each, including moon-cakes, lanterns, sugar, milk…, for children with difficult circumstances.

*Also on this occasion, a charity delegation from TDM city visited and presented gifts to more than 100 pupils at Luong Quoi preschool in Giong Trom district in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre province, helping them enjoy a warm mid-autumn festival.
