Plan on environmental protection 2017 approved

Thuan An town has just organized a conference to approve its plan on environmental protection 2017.

In 2016, the town made positive changes in environmental protection with propaganda work organized by many forms, including organizing training courses on the Law on environmental protection, the Law on Water Resources; mobilizing locals to make environmental hygiene, plant green trees; holding contests on the Law on environmental protection…, thereby absorbing more than 19,000 participants. The town also attached special importance to making inspection over activities on environmental protection.

In 2017, the town will strive to obtain 100% of households in use of clean water; 96.5% of solid waste collected and treated; 100% of newly-invested projects arranged in line with the local plan; 50% of waste water treated…
