Provincial Red Cross Society strengthens relief activities

In 2020, provincial Red Cross Societies at all levels mobilized organizations, individuals to offer help to 110,775 poor people, Agent Orange victims, policy beneficiary families and ethnic minority people in remote regions with a total value of more than VND24billion. They also built, upgraded 45 “red cross” houses worth more than VND2.8billion; awarded 4,191 scholarships worth more than VND3billion; gave 121 wheelchairs worth VND189million; delivered more than 284.6 tons of rice to 29,648 needy cases with a total value of more than VND2.6billion.

In addition, they organized models on supporting loans, nurslings, breeding animals with more than VND21.9billion, thereby offering timely help to 8,661 cadres, members in economic development, stabilizing their lives.
