Scholarships awarded to needy pupils

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20, the Study Promotion Society of Dinh Hiep commune in Dau Tieng district has just teamed up with a charity group of Mai Thi Dung, former Permanent Member of provincial People’s Council to organize a ceremony to award 50 scholarships to the local pupils with difficult circumstances.

At the ceremony, 50 needy pupils were awarded scholarships worth more than VND70million. This was a practical activity, aiming to encourage poor-but-excellent pupils, contributing to promoting the local movement of building learning-based society.
