Social policy beneficiaries under free medical check-up

To mark the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2017) and the 41st anniversary of provincial Red Cross Day (July 26, 1976-July 26, 2017), provincial Red Cross Society, on July 22, coordinated with sectors, departments, mass organizations, The Mira hotel and provincial Young Physicians’ Club to provide free medical check-ups for 300 policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors and poor people in North Tan Uyen district’s communes of Thuong Tan, Tan My and Lac An.
On this occasion, provincial Red Cross Society also mobilized The Mira hotel to present 300 gifts worth VND51million to the above targeted people.
*The same day, provincial Red Cross Society teamed up with the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to hold a blood donation program at An Phuoc prison in Phu Giao district.
As a result, the center collected 142 units of blood from 200 officials and soldiers at the prison in order to help patients in need of blood.
