Summer youth volunteer campaign launched

Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College’s Youth Union has organized a ceremony to launch the summer youth volunteer campaign 2017.

During the campaign, students of the school will get involved in volunteer activities in Nam Can district’s Tam Giang Dong commune in the southernmost province of Ca Mau with the theme of “Joining hands to build new rural areas”. They will coordinate with the locality to upgrade rural roads and clear canals; organize a consultancy squad on the safe and economical use of power; help the locality and needy households install and upgrade electrical appliances…Additionally, they will take part in “paying debt of gratitude” activities such as visiting and presenting gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families; upgrading electrical appliances; offering gifts to children with difficult circumstances…
