Tan Uyen Town to channel effectively social policy fund

According to Tan Uyen Town Social Policy Bank, over 10 months of 2020, this bank branch implemented a full range of preferential credit policy for poor, near-poor households, and other policy subjects. That result has contributed to guaranteeing social security, creating a good change in policy credit activities, helping the poor and policy beneficiaries to use loans more efficiently.

Up to now, total loans have reached more than VND 286,000 million, up 20.14% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 99.7% of the target assigned. During the year, the town transaction office disbursed loans for 2,626 households, raising the total number of households as borrowers to 6,712 households. In particular, the disbursement of loans is mainly programs such as job creation support, job maintenance and expansion, clean water and environmental sanitation, poor households, near-poor households, households escaping from poverty, pupils and students, and housing loans.
