TDM city’s Red Cross Society to offer at least 2,800 Tet gifts to disadvantaged people

As planned, TDM city’s Red Cross Society will strive to donate at least 2,800 Tet gifts to poor, near-poor households and those with Agent Orange victims or hit by Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters in 2020; policy beneficiary families, “red cross” members, volunteers with difficult circumstances and many other disadvantaged people. Each gift is worth VND400,000-VND500,000 and above.

The city’s Red Cross Societies at all levels are actively calling for donors, agencies, units to join hands in the above significant activity. From resources mobilized, they will offer help to disadvantaged people by many forms such as offering Tet gifts, upgrading and building “red cross” houses, granting health insurance cards, awarding scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils…
