Tet gifts for policy beneficiaries, needy people, disadvantaged children

Under the program of “Tet for the Poor and Agent Orange victims” 2019, provincial Red Cross Society, on January 11, continued coordinating with sectors, mass organizations to visit and present gifts to poor people, policy beneficiaries, Agent Orange victims in North Tan Uyen districts, Tan Uyen, Di An and Thuan An towns.

In each locality, the society donated 200 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to the above targeted people. The society also mobilized Medic Binh Duong hospital to give each locality 250 free medical check-up cards.

*The same day, provincial Children Support Fund’s Support Council together with donors organized a program “Spring journey with needy children” for 370 children at Thuan An town’s Center for Disabled Children.

Coming to the program, these children had a chance to enjoy art items and exchange with singers from HCM city. Provincial Children Support Fund also gave 370 gifts, supported a national milk program and learning tools for children with a total value of more than VND346million.

On the occasion of the Tet festival 2019, provincial Children Support Fund organized a program for 742 orphan, disabled children and those with difficult circumstances at Di An town’s charity classes, Thuan An Center for Disabled Children and Phu Hien center for orphans in Bau Bang district…
